Glass-cube Measurement System
The purpose of the system is to measure the electricity production of solar panels in southern Finland and feed the produced electricity to led-luminaires inside the glass-cube. Whole system operates on DC-voltage.
Studied parameters are: daily, monthly and yearly variations in
the solar energy, the effect of tilt angle and orientation of solar
panes to production and the comparison of produced electricity versus
the received solar radiation. Inside the glass cube it is possible
to test and compare 24VDC luminaires or use the electricity on other
devices operating at 24 VDC.
