Lectures and training in China
Short teaching sessions are organised
at Fudan University in China. Professors
and research scientists from Darmstadt
University, Helsinki University and
Fudal University will give lectures.
The objective is to upgrade and enhance
the mutual knowledge in the following
areas:
- Traffic lighting
- Basic in optics
- International regulations and directives
in lighting
- New car headlamps
systems
- Visibility in road
lighting
- Road and street
lighting measurements
- Light
sources
The first Joint
Lecture Session was organised
at Fudan University, Shanghai on March
9-10, 2005 (programme-doc).
Professors and PhD students of Helsinki
University of Technology, Darmstadt
University of Technology ad Fudan
University gave presentations on road
lighting and vision. CIE Div 4 Director
Pentti Hautala, Finland gave also
lectures on road lighting and CIE
Div 4 activities in the field. Chinese
lighting industry was widely represented
in the session.
The second joint Lecture and Training
Session will be held at Fudan University
on April 11-12, 2006.
