Research Areas
The research areas of Lighting Laboratory are divided into five groups:
- Indoor Lighting
- Traffic Lighting and Vision
- Light Sources and Energy
- Lighting Measurements and Testing
- Electrical Building Services
Projects
The research work of Lighting Laboratory is carried out in several national and international research projects. We are participating actively in CIE (Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage) and IEA (International Energy Agency) work. Research work is financed by National Technology Agency (Tekes), Academy of Finland, European Commission, Finnish Work Environment Fund and lighting industry.
